Steph's darling blue brother, Ash, lives with Megan and Paul Dortkamp in Sydney and continues to show his affectionate, fun-loving nature and promising performance skills.
He has already demonstrated promise in his introduction to sheep.
Some have wondered whether he is taking the 'Tangled Up In' part of his name a little too literally, given his tendency to play with his lead whilst heeling. However having completed his CCD title at Albury in July 2017, leadwork in the ring is fortunately a thing of the past. And the lack of lead definitely helped with his three Novice passes, earning him his Companion Dog title in late 2017. Ash has followed up by completing his Novice Rally title at Bermagui in February 2019 with consecutive passes of 98 and gaining his Rally Advanced title at Queanbeyan in July. He completed his Rally Excellent title with a lovely fourth at the Border Collie Nationals in Sydney in October.
We are thrilled both with his progress to date and with the wonderful home he has with Megan and Paul, and look forward to more success (and entertaining weekends away!)
